Where We Are Our student-to-teacher ratio is 1:7 due to the limited amount of space in our temporary location. We anticipate doubling our enrollment after relocating to our new premises. Updates

TGOI’s primary school is currently located in a 5-bedroom house in The Valley,
Where We Are Going
The new TGOI facility was designed as a Caribbean village - a welcoming community atmosphere on two acres provided by the Government of Anguilla. An initial phase houses pre-school and primary classes with secondary classes and an Arts & Sciences Center planned for the future.

Jollification - take 2
TGOI secures a task force for the building of their next two school houses during a mid-month meeting between Ashtrom and the Blooms. Ashtrom and their Chinese sub contractors will donate their
time once again to building the next two school houses on the first Sunday of February. Parents and teachers will once again partake in this event by bringing food, drinks, and music to support Ashtrom's 30 workers.
A Jollification to Remember
Construction on the first phase of
the new school facility took a huge step forward the Sunday before Christmas as
the walls were erected for the first structures, holding four of the class
rooms. Ashtrom and their Chinese sub contractors generously donated their
time, working hard and super efficiently to complete the walls. A number
of parents and teachers generously brought food and drinks for the crew.
The remaining two slabs are slated
to be poured over the next couple weeks. Mr. He, manager for Ashtrom's
sub contractor, offered to return sometime thereafter to complete the walls for
the remaining structures.
Continued thanks to Ashtrom for
supplying the bulk of materials for the project and to Kamique and the Blooms
for continuing to fund labor costs and management for the project.
Special thanks also to Carl Richards for his support on Architecture and
Construction management and Adolfo Brooks for leading construction of the slabs
and preparing everything for the masons.
We would also like to thank Amos
Isaiah Flemming, Charlie Manning, Michael Kyle, Victor Pemberton, Joselyn Lake,
and Thad Houser for their work on laying the plumbing and electrical pipes at
the school.

Flag/Temenos joins
Ashtrom and Kamique to Support TGOI’s New Facility
Flag/Temenos joins its project partner Ashtrom, who has been contributing generously to the school in a number of areas including covering rent at the school’s temporary location, building a Day Care center at the current location and providing the majority of materials for construction of the new facility. TGOI has also been greatly supported by Kamique Properties and the Bloom family, who have covered the balance of costs related to construction of the new facility while at the same time establishing and funding a Teachers’ Foundation that has helped subsidize salaries for local, regional and international teachers that have joined the staff at TGOI.

Work begins thanks to Junie Fleming, Ashtrom, and the Bloom family
Construction of the school has been formally started, albeit a little slower
than originally planned. All footings have been expedited for the first
phase of the eight classrooms with heavy equipment work generously donated by
Junie Fleming.
Footings for 4 of the 8 classrooms have been poured, with floor slabs scheduled
to be poured by December 1st. The remaining 4 classrooms are going to be
poured within 1-2 months thereafter.
